      Can A (Google earth) .KMZ file be imported into Sketchup.....My attempts crash every time I try?

        Try changing its file-type from .kmz to a .zip
        Then extract it.
        Inside the resultant folder there should be a .dae file that can be imported into a SketchUp model...
        Obviously this workaround removes any geo-location data...
