Scene with objects having different styles
-
Hello,
I am trying to create a scene where the building model has a style (textured and shaded) but I would like the cars to be on a different style (sketchy or hidden),
can you help me please?Cheers

You can't apply different face or edge styles to different parts in the same scene. You could remove textures/colors from the cars and other stuff you don't want to highlight but that's about it. You could make different scenes showing the buildings one way and the cars another way. Export the images and combine them in an image editor.
This was done that way in just a few minutes.
the original looks like this. -
Thanks
It s a shame it is not possible to control layer visibility of the model from layout.I also found difficulties in inserting a dwg floor plan on the layout window, even converting it to png it lost definition!

You should be controlling layer visibility with scenes in SketchUp and using those scenes for viewports in LayOut. Then you don't need to control SketchUp's layer visibility in LayOut.
What do you have for render settings in LayOut? Very likely the edit render setting is set to less than High so imported images won't look very sharp. Export render quality can be set higher and the image will probably look good. Try importing your image and making a PDF export at high or even medium quality.
