      Hi all,

I made a group and copied it multiple times in my model. I forgot to make a component of it.

Is there a way to convert these copies to a component without starting from scratch. Because i need to edit the group and i dont want to edit each group individualy.

A quick search would turn up ThomThom's Groups to Components which should do exactly what you need.

This is a good reason for making components from the beginning instead of trying to remember to convert a group to a component later.

Tanx for the reply, but this is not what i'm looking for. Thoms plugin makes individual components of each group. I want to replace similar groups with a component. Is there a way?

Thomthoms selection toys have this option. You can select all group copies and convert them to one component instance.
