Another Shape Bender issue

Shape bender works fine on everything except this model. I try to execute the command and I get this. I've looked over the wireframe but nothing seems out of place. Any ideas? Here's a link to the file:

Use the arrow keys to change the layout of the preview grid before committing to the bend.

That works perfect. Forgot you could change the orientation. Much appreciated.

What Box said! Arrow keys are your friend. I bend some crazy stuff with Shape Bender, the only thing you need to keep in mind if your model is complex , scale it WAY BIG or you'll blow the mesh full of little holes....
