if any body know a way to convert adobe swatch files to xls or csv
Although your intentions are good I would be cautious about infringing on copyright. It is a small thing with textures I know but we should try to set the example.....cheers!

Deaneau, Thanks for sharing these. They come by handy sometimes, specially RAL...
So I downloaded it and I found some RAL colors I'd never found before:
We all love steve, and I bet he's got a very high standard, I guess it's not the kind of standard we're talking about here.
Thanks again for sharing,

Roland Joseph is right
Color systems such as RAL, RAL Design, NCS, etc. are protected by copyrights and may not be distributed. For using these systems, there must be payed royalties to these authors. But there are also a lot of useful color systems from different companies which offer their systems to download as SKP-color palettes, free and legal. This is just one examle:

the RGB value for RAL i have found on the Website
the NSC color i have found on the Website
I will respect all copyrights, however if RAL show the RGB Value on the own Website, i think i can use this.

Hi Deaneau
What you're saying is right of course - and to "rebuild" and to use these colors is not the problem.
To be more precise, I would just avoid the label "RAL" (etc ...) for the naming of these color palettes... -
ok i could write
Reichs-Ausschuss fΓΌr Lieferbedingungen
however outside of germany nobody know this word combination

That's right!!!!! even here nobody understands that anymore
(they should engage a good marketing agency) -
There have been SketchUp color libraries for RAL, Pantone and Sherwin-Williams for many years. There are RAL and Sherwin-Williams color libraries in the 3D Warehouse. There's another RAL library here on Sketchucation and since 2007 there's been a Pantone library.

@Dave_R hi Dave, if you could insert links this would be good.
i have seen that some RAL libs will be different.
the RAL obove based on RGB and ist from RAL.de itself.
i know all this is only an orientation important is the RAL-No.
i use RAL for visualisation in Simulators like Trainz, T:ANE Trainsimulator 2015 by DoveTaleGame DTG.
in this simulator i canΒ΄t only simulate RAILWAY/RAILROAD..i could simulate others, too like Roman Lime, Berlin Wall and Inner German Border or what ever.
