I am very impressed with your skills πŸ‘

          Two questions -

I love the extra large photos, but was wondering - how did you overcome the forum size restrictions when posting your images?

Given the weight and construction of the table, wouldn't there be some dangerously weak spots when moving it?

            No no, please don't!
Speaking for myself, I'm tired of photos that are just too small to see any details, of clicking on a photo and it's just as small as before I clicked on it.
In this case, bigger really is better!

Ok, maybe that last one was a tad too big πŸ˜†

Haha! Inadvertent max res upload. Fixed.

Plug was made "organic" with freoscale's radial bending at 1000x scale. Just realized the cord poly count needs to be up'd. Maddening.

                  Thank you, and thanks all.

I uploaded to and shared from imgur and enabled the HD option. I'll share smaller photos in the future.

Good call, it would be best to assemble from 3 sections for peace of mind. The drawback being... it would be difficult to finish (sand) them in a manner that would appear seamless (edges might be rounded, uneven). A solution that might allow for it to remain seamless could be assembly with "hollow" sections, making the total weight around 60-80lbs. It wouldn't be as robust, but more portable and rigid enough at the structurally weaker points you highlighted (~4"-6" shear planes).

                      Awesome models, Jacob! πŸ‘ πŸ‘

How are things going? Still working at Steelblue? I just noticed that Greg is no longer with them.

Anyway, if you're still in SF, let's have lunch someday. My office is actually not far from Steelblue, right at the intersection of New Montgomery and Market.

                      Take care,

Thanks Ken! Things are going well. No longer at Steelblue. It was a great 1.5 year run but I wanted to move on. That being said, I'm a few minutes out from the city and am down to meet for lunch sometime. Sending you a PM...
