Any idea what these artefacts are in the shadows

Have you tried changing OpenGL settings? Do they have any impact on the appearance of the shadows? Have you experimented with the Shadows Strings plugin from the EW?

What turn hardware acceleration off ?
It only renders like that when I export an image while within a group with the rest of model on hide ?
