Shed Roof

Thanks. I like mine better, too.
There's no proper joinery done in truss building in the US. The ends are cut to fit together but it's no like a timber framed structure where they use mortise and tenon joinery. If it weren't for those nail plates a truss would just be a pile of sticks.

Oh you think your Shed is Strong do ya Dave? Check out the Structural Integrity of the Shed in my backyard... The Big Bad Wolf can Huff and Puff all he wants... Not gonna blow this house down.
-
Did you just build that?

Those are very "photoreal" Kris!

Agreed! The extension ladder and lawn mower almost look real. And I like how you added that flare at the lower left corner of that first image. What render settings do you use for that?
-
Can you believe this thing stands up? I think the paint on the siding boards is the only thing holding it up.
-
Ladder keeps the house standing ?

What's worse is that I store a Jaguar in it...
-
I bet there aren't any rodents in it.
-
They're smarter than that...
-
Don't they like Jaguar?
-
The jaguar likes them.
-
Are you sure it's a Jaguar?
-
Jaguar is the Walmart brand of lawn mowers. it chews up rodents and spreads them across the lawn.

Kris's shed reminds me of an architect friend who was excited about his first home that had a detached garage. The garage listed about 15 degrees, and he was certain that it would collapse within his first year of ownership. He figured he would get a new garage with an insurance claim. Well, that garage had to be torn down 25 years later and it took alot of effort. I think it had the same "structutral" paint that Kris's shed has.
