Good day! I am new to Sketchup 2015 and I am just shocked why no "temp" box appears when i click and drag the mouse pointer on objects. Is this new? I simply do not like this feature if yes. Please, someone enlighten me.

So to sum up my issue is about:

      • selection box (with broken box not showing)

Also, if someone could please point me to a software that is free that makes .dxf exports from sketchup (which could only be surfaces, right?) be converted to solid. And I need these to be accessible in CAD. Thank you.

      I am using,

      • Sketchup 7
      • Sketchup 2015 Trial
      • Autocad 2013 LT

LT does not have 3D powers so I can't do much.

      Please help

The invisible selection box isn't a feature as you assume. It has to do with the OpenGL settings on your computer. Go to Window>Preferences>OpenGL and untick the box for Use Hardware acceleration. Click OK and then quit and restart SketchUp. Do you see the selection box after doing that?
