From evermotion to sketchup
-
Hello there.
I am new in hereDoes anyone know how can I import models prepared by evermotion team to sketchup with all textures?
Is there any possibility?
Also is there any plugin for sketchup like multiscatter or forestpro (3ds max)?Regards

Evermotion models are very high poly... will probably not do well in SketchUp. If you want to use them, you'll need to open them in max and export in a format used by sketchup such as .3DS or .OBJ.

I have a Sketchup 2015 Pro 62 bit version and there is no possibility to import OBJ
Also I can't export in .3ds because model has too many faces.
Is there any other solution?I've tried to import model as a vray proxy - everything is ok but sketchup miss materials
Also I tried to use collada format - but I have message in sketchup: "import filed"

There's an Obj importer plugin.

I tried to export simple teapot with 4 segments from max to sketchup as a OBJ format.
But when I imported the OBJ file the teapot has a missing faces. -

Ok Thanks
I used this plugin and exported 3d model.
When I open exported model it doesn't show all materials. Why?I think the best and the fastest solution for the high poly models is using the proxy.
But proxy doesn't have vray materialsOne more time - I want to import 3d model from 3ds max to sketchup with all vray materials with all maps like bump, opacity, diffuse etc. (from vray for 3ds max). Is it possible?
