Edge color ?

Does anyone know how to make the white edges in the attached image show up either as one color or maybe the color of the associated face material?
I have tried changing the edge color in the styles/edit dialog box but it does not change anything.

You can change the Edges to colour by material, but I don't think that is at issue here.
That looks like you are seeing the back faces through the edges. Adjusting the back face colour should help. -

Also made it very obvious that I had a few faces reversed.
