Dimension jump to a different place on screen.

Some dimensions jump to a different place on the screen when I close the component.
I am working several levels deep inside a nested component, and when I add a dimension to that component it appears in the correct place on the screen. However, when I do "Edit -> Close Group/Component" the location where the dimension is displayed moves to another place on the screen. If I double-click to select that component again, the dimension returns to the original correct location, but when I close it once again, then dimensions jumps to the other location. Sometimes that new location is inside the component itself, where it is hidden from view.
Not all dimensions do this: I can put several dimensions on the component, and when I close it only one or two move, while the others stay in the correct location.
Example shown below. The top part shows the location of the dimension with the component selected, then bottom part shows the location after closing the component.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a real bug? Is there any way to anchor the position of the dimension somehow, so it does not move? How come some dimensions move, but others don't?

I found the solution myself, a couple of years later, if anyone is still interested: this happens when the component and one (or more) of its parent components have different axis assignments. All you need to do is to use the "change axis" option on each level in the hierarchy, to make sure that they all have the same axes pointing in the same directions.

I'm not sure about whether axes positions an directions are involved. Can you share an example?
But dimensions inside scaled groups and components do change their location when closing the scaled group/component. As if the dimension isn't fully taking part of the scaling operation.
