Where do I find the lighting dialog box?

This text is talking about a lighting dialog box but I can´t find it

I can find subdivs under light cache but that boc doesn´t look the same as in the text.
Can someone help me out?

again, please provide version #
If you look under Window --> Preferences, the "system preferences" window comes up. Select the Extensions category and look for the Vray for Sketchup entry.

but there should be a few more digits after it. There have been 2 service pack releases since 2.0 came out. The most recent service release is 2.00.24942

Is it possible to make shadows less sharp in that version?

yes, try updating to the latest release. Do be aware that the demo also limits you to only few lights rendering at a time.
