I would like to fallow up on my problem I had with solid inspector.
I was trying to create a complex bottle lid (3x5cm) with a thread(using helix along curve with shape bender)
After converting my thread and the lid in to solid groups I was trying to subtract the thread from the lid so I create the thread inside the lid.
      problems:
#1 Every time i selected solid group one (thread) ,after selecting solid group two(lid) both got deleted.
I think that was just a glitch in my sketchup. After sweating for an hour I just restarted my computer and my problem changed a little.
#2 I was not able to convert the lid in to a solid group and solid inspector did not recognize any problems(no red or yellow rings).
I was able to fix the problem by scaling both groups 10x, converting group 1 in to solid component ,
converting group 2 in to solid component , deleting solid component 1 from solid component 2.
scaled down to the original size. 😍

Glad you got it to work. From what you describe, there wasn't any point in making components from the groups so those were unneeded steps.
