Very cool, kinda waiting for a giant spider to appear, the black and white one is my fav.
-
it's easy in blender because of the Screw Modifier and Spin tool. All you need is a profile.
thanks, not usually my bag but i find the more diverse your range the better these days.
Thea still amazes me. All these outputs are raw Thea except for some CRF or Vignettes which are handled in the Darkroom

cool! Did you model that all in Blender? I'm curious how you feel that compares to modeling the same thing in SU in terms of speed. I'd bet with a few of the FredoTools, that could be done pretty quick in SU. I
Blender, but not for architectural modeling. -
100% Blender modeling and it is at least 5 times faster than SU because of the modifier stack to do the heavy lifting.
after drawing the profile for the balcony there are less than 10 clicks to make 5 floors that then taper inwards.
no rails or lofting occurs.
-
Are you also rendering in Blender with the Thea plugin?
-
play over for a few days....
...think i'll get this into SU and start a 'Render This' thread?
just needed to fix mapping first.
-
yes, always
-
Wright's curved master piece. Love it. I think #6 is my favorite. I've never noticed until now, the structure looks like a giant eye from this angle.

Looks good.
-

Not sure how it compares to Lumion as I have never used it.
-
Reading is for suckers... Looks a lot like Lumion.
