      Hi All,
I am given CAD work drawings in PDF format. I'm trying to figure out a way to use a ruby or set of rubies to get some basic line work to work with? Is it possible? I'm having trouble downloading thomthom's Index and bitmap to mesh. I was trying to put the PDF into photoshop, make it a bit map (really bad quality?), insert into SU and then run the bitmap to mesh? To see what I get? No luck yet. Am I traveling down the wrong path going this way?
      Thanks,
      Matte

I would try some of the PDF2DWG converters, and than import in SU. "Any PDF 2 DWG converter" was good for me...

Nowadays I use Inkscape to import a pdf and convert to dxf for import to Sketchup. Works perfectly.

              Thanks!
I tried the Inkscape method and it worked like a charm! I will also try the converter option as well to have another way to solve this problem.
              Thanks again!
