When I import an exported 3ds file from my CAD software, the materials on the model faces display at the correct scale, but the scale of the imported materials in the browser don't match: i.e., an imported material has a original sample size of 8'8" x 5'3" (a brick wall), yet in the edit window of the materials browser it has a size of 1" x 1". Anything I paint using the materials dialog with that texture display at the very small size; conversely if I change the sample size to what it should be in the material edit window; all instances of that material already on faces in the model go way out of scale! Is there an easy or quick way to sync up or save the material textures to their intended sample sizes? Right now I only use the eyedropper to add materials to surfaces in models such as these.
