Scenes...with a different geometry
-
How does one make scenes...with a different geometry in each scene? Is this really called "an animation"?
-
Your question is extremely vague but, no, it doesn't have to be an animation. You need to learn about using layers properly and scenes. What exactly do you want to do?

Dave R,
Thank you for your speedy reply.
For example:
Scene 1: House
Scene 2: The roof is flies up a few feet from the house. Using the same camera, perceptive, shadows, etc.
Scene 1: The door open. Using the same camera, perceptive, shadows, etc. -
Scene 3
: The door open. Using the same camera, perceptive, shadows, etc. -
There is at least one animation plugin available. I'll let you look them up and decide if you want to go that route. Or you can do it manually. I did this animation years ago in SU4. There are multiple copies of the ball component placed at points along a path. Each ball is on a different layer and those layers are turned on successively as you increment through the scenes. I've used the method for animating doors and other things, too. It isn't difficult to do. You just have to think like an animator working with cels.

Dave R,
Thank you very much. I'm getting the hang of it. Each scene, using the same perspective, has different layers that one hides or unhides its geometry. -
That's it.
