Unity 5 announced (and wow, it looks great)

Some software companies keep releasing new versions that overwhelm with coolness.
What about: cross platform realtime global illumination, 64bit version, webGL export, speedTree support and much much more (thousands of other improvements).I think realtime archviz artists can really look forward to this release.

what? they are actively developing their product? What is that, 64bit?! pffft, no benefits to that.
if it wasn't so expensive (yep, I saw the monthly option but prefer to "own" software and not rent it) I would seriously consider buying into Unity myself, but I'm so heavily invested in SketchUp and a number of scripts / render engine licences that I'm willing to stick to it for a little while still.

juju > Unity is not a modeling software like Sketchup.
-
Sure but that is a monster and the learning curve is not very short!

And if you want make some programming count some years before to make exactly that you want!
-
Oh yeah, it IS a beast. I've used it and love it.
But comparing it with Sketchup doesn't make any sense. -
Unity 4 was great already.
How Three.js get close to it? for simple stuff of course
