Resizing SU port in LO-edge jumps
-
Hi,
I have a SU port in LO that I want to adjust the height of, showing more of the SU model. When I pull the bottom edge arrow the image does not change then the edge jumps past the place I want it to be. When I move it back it moves past again. It misses by a long ways (perhaps 1" or more in the scale the printout would be). How can I control this? I haven't seen this behaviour before.

Have you tried turning off object and or grid snap?

Charlie that's it. OBJECT snap. I knew grid snap was off but I didn't check object. I don't know what object could cause this as there was noting else in the drawing
THANKS!

You are welcome........I've had the same thing happen.......and it reminds me of trying to get the old time window shades to all be even. (Vinyl roll up type...showing my age here)
And just when you get them even and start walking away....one releases...flap flap flap flap....son of aC

Haha yeah. All the fancy options we have now in house accessories.... take the fun out of things.

Most LayOut objects will snap to their original position during a resize - which can be very annoying, or very useful, depending on your situation.
