SketchUp 2014 crashing more than ever

Since buying a new 15" Macbook, upgrading to SU2014 and the latest version of Shader light, SU is crashing all the time?
The plugins I use are:
Bezier Curves
Chamfer Along Path
Set Centre Point
Drop GC
Stray Lines
WeldCan anyone advise me on how I go about trying to prevent these frequent crashes?
Should I remove these plugins? Or is there something else I can try?SketchUp is unusable at the moment...the slightest task and it gives up the ghost....
Any help will be welcomely received...

are all your plugins the latest version?
v2014 uses Ruby 2, ANY old plugins may break...
if they are all fresh downloads with v2014 compatibility, on a mac the first suspect will be a renderer. [any breed]
