So I've finally got SU2014 set up the way I like it, toolbars etc. Now I'm loading it on my laptop. Is there any way to transfer the workspace from my desktop to the laptop? Plugin
      maybe?

Well, that is a problem. I use PicPick to make a screen capture and input the image into Sketchup and use the image as a guide.

Note, PicPick is great for taking screen shots of your Sketchup model to send to others that have an interest in your project.

The short answer is, "no." Ken's suggestion to use a screen shot of one installation as a guide is a good one. If you want, you could import that screen shot into SketchUp as an image so you can see the toolbar layout from your other installation.

There is one thing that can help a bit, not toolbars but you can export your shortcuts from the preferences window and import them into a new setup.

if Windows you may wanna try our BackUp Prefs Tool for dumping your SU config to file and restore from this file on the laptop... at least if using the same program directory.

as always, use at own risk, don't moan if it scrambles you destination installation of SU 😎
