Possible to change reseller to Trimble ?

Question: is it possible to get my updated /future license directly online from Trimble instead of via my current reseller in The Netherlands?
I still have a few months support on 2013 and requested an update to 2014 on Friday. Still waiting and online it could work instantly I guess.

....This is exactly what I want to know to! If your reseller quits, what then? I also prefer to have a direct license with Trimble and not with my reseller. Hope this is possible!

If your reseller simply ceases to sell SketchUp and you have no upgrade path then you should be able to use our upgrade wizard to upgrade instead. That is found here: https://store.sketchup.com/
If you purchased through a Reseller but instead would prefer to purchase through us then you may need to contact our Sales folks and talk with them about the change. You can reach our Sales team at http://help.sketchup.com/en/contact

Unfortunately this is not going to work, I'm afraid...As late as back in November 2013 I was in contact with one of your colleagues - Laura Allen - regarding a similar issue...
In the past I had been using the direct route (to begin with @Last and subsequently Google), however, when I upgraded from SU7 to SU8 I used a reseller...
This reseller was dropped/dumped by Google for various reasons and I didn't have any option to upgrade to SU2013 directly from the Trimble SU web-shop...Instead I was informed to get in contact with another reseller, hence I couldn't continue using the direct road...
Very frustrating I must say...
I fully understand that Trimble need to protect the resellers, but in my case it doesn't make any sense that I need to get in contact with another reseller...
Ahh well... My issue has been solved using a completely different route, but I just wanted to mention this as there seem to be some discrepancies in what you've been posting and what I've been informed previously...

Just a few hours ago, I forwarded the specific
request, to support SU, for the transfer of license (from retailer to Trimble).
The response was rapid, with immediate positive result:
now my new license is registered to Trimble. -

I emailed Trimble yesterday with the same request, Still haven't heard back from them. Tomorrow it's taking my current reseller already 1 week to send me the new code for release 2014. Their response until know: "we're waiting for them to send us the codes."
Very strange and not happy about it... 8 hour trail period was already 90% gone on the first day... High hopes for tomorrow.
edit: at last, on Friday I get my new codes from the reseller & Trimble a few hours later.
