Missing "Front View"
-
Hi'
I've downloaded SketchUp 2014 & I was setting up
the toolbars. I clicked on View/Toolbars then Views.
A window popped up with only 5 pictures on it,
I was missing the Front View indicator.
Looked in Windows Explorer in SU 2013 to find it
to no avail. I even uninstalled SU 2014 & re-installed
it but it was still missing.
I'm wondering if anyone can Help Me on this issue.
Thanks. -
Really? You're missing the one I show in the circle?
Screen shot, please? Is there a place holder for it on the toolbar?
Did you make a custom toolbar? Try View>Toolbars and click on Reset. Any change?

Tim, you've got valid questions, too. Too many unknowns for us at this point.

Hi:
I only have these suggestions to consider:
Are you dragging plugins from a previous version of Sketchup? They advise don't do that.
Could you perhaps have a conflicting plugin that kills that view? An unlikely thought.Beyond that, I do not know.
Oops. Sorry, Dave. Delete this if it is not relevant.

Coincidentally, as I made that edit and tried to submit, I got a total freeze up. I had to force kill the session with my power button on my computer.
(In the interim, I thought you had gone to the dark side and taken over ) -
It worked?
Hey, Rocky! Watch me pull a rabbit out of this hat.

Heh Heh.
You know, this is off topic but brings up a point for consideration. Is it possible that simultaneous postings, or moderator intervention could cause this kind of situation?
Hell, anything's possible.EDIT: Say, are you from Frostbite Falls, MN?
-
I don't think simultaneous postings would cause your browser to lock up.
Frostbite Falls? Yes, for sure. Still below 0°F here.

@Dave:
Was this resolved for "tapimjay"? I see the solved check mark. -
I wasn't aware it was fixed but I see that check mark now. I wonder if the suggestion to reset the toolbars was the fix.
