Background image
-
Is there anyway of adding a background image to layout without having to paste a background as an image and then scaling it?
I want to have a background image but also the grid on.

It's easy enough to draw a grid and put it on a layer higher in the list than the image you import.

But how?
The grid is set up in the document setup. -
Well, I used the Line tool to draw the grid.
The grid you can choose to display though Document Setup can't be put on a layer but you can draw one in a few moments. It can be shown on top in the Document Setup, too.

Ill think I'll skip the grid entirely.
Its quite really remarkable how they didnt give us an option to add an image for the background in the document setup. -
Seriously? I just showed you it was a simple thing to put grid over a photo like you asked for.

Ha ha I know its quite simple, but I discovered a better presentation that is closer to what I originally intended So I dropped the grid entirely

Under document set up just check the boxes "show grid on top" and "print grid" easy!
