Recall last selection?

Is there a plugin that lets you recall the last selection without having to store it explicitly before? This would be very handy if you lost a selection accidently or if you have to redo an operation like round edges where you have to redo the complety selection...
btw. other (serious) programs like 3dsmax include the selection in the undo list...

Great! Thanks! I think i had seen this before - and i think had already installed it... not sure why i lost it, maybe because it is hidden in the edit menu. Now i have assigned a shortcut and it works great! Thanks again.
