Architectural Desk

I did this for a guy who is building it for his wife. Not really my cup of tea but that's what she wants.
All of the parts including the columns are designed to be easily made with profiles added using just two router bits.
Clay render in KT, a little Fotosketcher action and a hidden line overlay.

Looks good, Dave.
The wife didn't want drawers in the desk?
Best,
dh -
thank you.
Actually, the wife does want drawers but he didn't tell me how big so I didn't put them in. I left that up to him. There's only about 3-1/2 in. between the desk top and the molding at the bottom of the drawer case. That's his specification. It means that the drawers would end up being very shallow.

That's pretty chunky!

Rich, that's much more polite than what I was thinking. Still, it's what the customer wants.

Solid!

Probably easier to move it while it is still in Sketchup
Wear steel toed boots -
Will there be a ribbon cutting ceremony for the foundation stone before they start the concrete pour.

I wondered why he wanted all that rebar.

No matter what you are forced to tackle, you always do it well.

Thank you very much, sir.
