Did it ever happen to you that while using Sketchup, suddenly the model is cut by a section plan.... which you DIDN'T create?!?
The only solution I found is moving the model away from the spurious section plan, but why does it appear? It happened in SU6, but it also happens in SU8! Is this supposed to be a feature rather than a bug?!?

It sounds like you have hit a clipping issue.
Have a search for clipping and see if one of the many threads about it can help you.

I played with field of view, but it is disabled in parallel view although I still see clipping.
            I'll do other tests.
            Thanks.

Is your model small and positioned at some distance from the origin? Do you have stray geometry at a distance from the rest of the model? Hit Zoom Extents. Does the camera zoom so your model fills the drawing window or is there a lot of empty space?

"Zoom to extent", or how it's named in English, solved the problem. 😄
