Gorgeous!
I don't usually comment on renders as I don't do them myself & don't feel qualified to comment. But I can almost feel the warmth of the sun across the carpet & I shall be studying the random folds of the duvet modelling for quite some time.
... & I wouldn't mind having a bedroom like that myself! -
Superb!
Great renders and great attention to detail. The lighting is perfect.
(I really do need to raise my game!) -
Stephan that looks brilliant, fantastic texture and light. The amount of detail you've put into the model really shows through.
I've been saying for a long time that SU is no longer a toy

very lovely renders... Did you model everything in SU? Very nicely textured. Wish I could make these model of pillows and blanket. Very nice curtain. The only thing I feel is that the colors are lacking saturation, I mean the colors are just a little bit bland to come alive, maybe its a style, or maybe just my over-bright screen.
One other thing, In the first image the wall lamp is throwing a bright spot but it doesnt look lit. Great work overall!

Stefan,
that's an impressive way of pushing SU & Vray to the limits, the amount of detail plus a clean & neat rendering solution you have achieved is fantastic
cheers

WOW, thank you all for comments! Really made my day!
I tried to achieve nice materials mostly, the lighting is nothing special. All the small objects ware imported, with some modifications, especially the bed. I think I made the headboard from a tufted chair from the warehouse, the bed cover and the pillows are from here: http://www.sketchuptexture.com/2013/09/free-sketchup-model-double-bed-11.html
The plant is from the warehouse as well ( I think is made by Andeciula). The curtain it's giving me trouble every time, because is 2sided material, an most of the light is coming through there, resulting some nasty artefacts. That's why I apply some king of glowing effect in post-production on windows.
Thank you again for such nice comments!

Wow! Really great work.
How long did it cook to get this quality? -
Hello John, the rendering time was around 1.5 hours on a quad core 2.66 GHz, but I didn't made high resolution images.
Cheers! -
Yeow! Really good work. I really like the light.
