Smooth modeling, cutouts to model.

Hello Sketchucation,
I'm using sketchup for a few years now, but im recently kind of stuck with a certain problem i can't seem to work out.
I tried different kinds of methods to get this to work but i didn't succeed yet.Here's the problem.
I'm trying to create the following model in sketchup (see pictures below)
i made a cut out of the side and the center part but i have no clue how to create this smooth surface. i've tried the soapskin plugin, but it start to glitch instead of creating a smooth surface.
does anyone have a certain plugin or tip to help me finish this project?
