Here's a quick photo composite for a zoning meeting. Doesn't look it, but this house was thrashed during Sandy last year, so its being rebuilt.

๐Ÿ‘ I suggest adding noise etc. to render to make it more part of the photo.

                        Thanks guys.. much much appreciated.

srx.... sometimes noise/dirt is a catch 22 in projects like this. it would definitely help it blend in a bit more, but at the same time a client doesnt want to see their new project all muddied up and 'real' ๐Ÿ˜„

Than you should remove reality (noise, mud) from the photo. ๐Ÿ˜„ A new approach is - Don't make render look real, turn reality into render. I sometimes used photo sketcher to unite real and unreal.

haha...yeah, that could work too but the whole point of this is that its going to be at a Zoning hearing and in front of a bunch of lay people, so they need it served to them as clearly and simply as possible.

..while we're on the subject, here is another. This is for a location shot for a series I worked on last week and seemed like it was going to be really simple. The designer wanted to replace the tree/plantings in the front of the house and the tree ended up covering up most of the front. I had to recreate the bay in 3d and then pshopped the bits of window/door/railing.... certainly far from seamless, but didn't have much time left in my day and underestimated it.

Nice work marked001. I truly understand when you do a model for a client you don't always have an opportunity to make things perfect. The deadline is the deadline and the idea is to convey the point usually and not the just the image itself. May I ask what render-er you use? Or are you using just Photomatch?
