List indent settings
-
Does anyone perhaps know how to change the indent setting for bullets in text lists?
I have a huge gap between the bullet and where the text starts. It would be great to be able to reduce this gap. Thanks -
What text editor are you using?

Hi Dave i am using the Text Style dialog box (windows)

Hi Dave - not sure how do i find this out?

I see. You aren't using a text editor.
If you want to create text which is more than simple notes or callouts, do that in MS Word or Open Office or Whatever. Save the file as .rtf and then insert that into LayOut. If you need to edit that text after inserting it, right click on it and choose Edit in Text Editor.

Hello Dave
Well everytime there is a new Sketchup version, I try out the Layout program. I have been trying to get a default text editor to be installed. No luck.
So, what text editor should I use? I have been trying MS word. I install it, but it isn't shown as an editor after I close and open Layout.
I have installed an image editor, MS Digital Image 10, and it works.
Thanks in advance.

Ken,
Have you tried inserting an RTF file into a LayOut project? Have you then right clicked on the text box and clicked on Open with text editor?
I've never had to choose a text editor in LO. I expect that if RTF files are associated with MSWord, on your computer, you should be all set.

Well I tried using rtf. So that will be next after the race.
Thanks Dave
