I have house model with the floor and walls as separate groups. I want all the lines from the bottom of the walls to be transfered to the floor group. What is the quickest method for this without having to trace all the walls?

Open the floor group for editing. Select the lines you want to transfer. Hit Edit>Copy or Edit>Cut depending upon whether or not you want to leave a copy of the lines in the floor group. Close the the floor group and open the wall group. Hit Edit>Paste in Place. Done.

If the walls are sitting on the floor, simply open the floor group for editing, select the top face and right click and select intersect faces with model. This should transfer the lines.

Edit: Oooops, looks like Dave and I are looking at it different ways. 2 answers are better than one.

Excellent, Box. Intersect with Model would probably be faster assuming you want all of the lines that would be generated by the intersection. 😉
