Dear all, I thought I once saw something somewhere about a plug-in that could change the number of segments in a curve, at least an arc, but I thought other curves as well. Please let me know if there is a plug-in with such capabilities or not. Thanks much.

Fredo6's BezierSpline may be one option.
I am assuming that the basic Sketchup tools for this are not sufficient for what you are doing. Whatever that is.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

You can change the segmentation of an Arc/Circle as you make it by typing 99s immediately after you use the tool - where 99 is the number of segments that all future arcs will start with, during that session...

Provided that an Arc/Circle that was made a while ago is not part of a 3d extrusion you can select it and change the number of segments in it using 'Entity Info'.

Similarly a Bezier Curve's segmentation can also be edited using Fredo's plugin's toolset as it is made and sometime afterwards as well.

Other types of curves, exploded arcs etc are not changeable like this.

If you have lots of premade 2d Arcs/Circles that need changing [e.g. from an imported DWG file when they all be given the default segmentation] then I have a tool to let you change the segment count of selected ones...Capture.PNG
