Geodesic spheres you'll find in the 3D Warehouse have a small number of triangulations, but smoothed looks better even if they are low-poly by default. -

How did you dent the bottom squares? -
Geodesic_Sketchup.rb is a good one to create such a sphere.

How did you dent the bottom squares?Offset the top then push the surface inside. Also made a very small bevel on those dented cubes, unnoticeable, but avoids sharp edges and brings realism.
