      Hi,

I'm a newbie to sketchup8 and i'm sure i'm being dense but what is the simplest way to add a component onto an angled faced, like a roof, so that the component isn't floating. Thanks soo much

It kind of depends upon the component you're adding. Probably the easiest way would be to make it have gluing characteristics so it will glue to any surface. Is this a component you've made or something you got somewhere?

          Glueing did the trick. Thanks!
