      Good Day Guys,

I was quite disappointed with vray lately because I can't render a scene that I needed to submit immediately or else I would be dead.. it is now worse because it now occur frequently everytime i click the render button vray , the status bar always said vray is processing your request i waited for 20 minutes but no frame buffer show up, i can navigate the model again. the file is 16 MB and it was bizarre since I can render up to 65 MB before.. this is very rushed job, though I already experience this prob even before and solve it by restarting the sketchup file, but now by doing that nothing works.

I already purge it and below are the details:

      edge- 21
      components instance- 479
      group- 79
      components definition- 158
      Layers-9
      Materials- 38
      others were 0

      vray 1.49.01
      sketchup 8
      core i5
      3gb RAM

Please I need help from you guys or any chaosgroup team. Thanks

First thing I would check is textures. Make sure you don't have any funky image files from any warehouse objects for example. I've sometimes run into images that are cmyk jpeg files instead of RGB for example. Have you tried doing a render with global material override. That way you can check if any of the materials are causing problems. (You can override some materials and have those render, that way you can check specific materials.)

There's any other number of problems that can crop up. Another trouble-shooting option is to load default options settings to make sure something in your options isn't messed up. If you are using DR, there are all kinds of instability there that could be an issue.

Any more specifics you can share on your settings?

One last thing: do you have more than one window of SU open when you are rendering? That can cause all kinds of issues too. I never have two windows of SU open with vray running.
