SketchUp saves strange file to Windows server

I've been using SketchUp for about 7 years and have a good working knowledge of the program. The other day I rebuilt the OS (Mountain Lion) on my mac and reinstalled SketchUp 8 Pro. I loaded all my plugins and shortcuts, and started using the SketchUp. Sketchup started a strange behavior. I found that SketchUp will save properly to my local drive. However, it save a very strange file to the network Windows server.
The file has a long name such as:
9A630423-679C-4EB7-A2DF-2BF4A80A4485-1479-0000018ED895EAEBI'm not sure what's happening. None of our other computers are doing this. I tried uninstalling SketchUp and reinstalling several times. I've also used AppDelete to make sure all the files were removed.
Any help would be greatly, greatly, greatly appreciated.
