        Interesting. πŸ˜‰
        Some thoughts...

        • the reflections over the TV are a little bit low?
        • can't imagine which ceiling light belongs to which shadows of the couch?
        • if it would come from the shelf, why is it on the wall near the clock?
        • why does the shadow of the clock looks like it comes from a ligth source on the ground?
          So,
        • are there lights which we can't see?
        • do you have a detail of one light source?

          Ok so

          • the reflections over the TV are a little bit low? What do you mean?
          • can't imagine which ceiling light belongs to which shadows of the couch? As it's a day scene, i don't want to have this effect. Does it looks weird?
          • if it would come from the shelf, why is it on the wall near the clock? I don't know... I think it may be my IES light that has a bright spot see below
          • why does the shadow of the clock looks like it comes from a light source on the ground? There is a light on top of the clock
            So,
          • are there lights which we can't see? Yes only one
          • do you have a detail of one light source? Yes see below

Perhaps I thought of the wrong (black) light instead of the right (green) for the reflection

No, iff you use lights, you will have shadows πŸ˜‰

Yes, but it looks like as strong shadow the other direction?

I don't know V-Ray, so I can't say something about the light setup, sorry

Ok I finally found the answer!! It wasn't my lights of any of the reflections as i thought. In fact (Dear god thank you Nomer!!!!) it was the DMC Sampler paramater to set Adaptive @0.85, and Noise sampler @0.005 that solved the problem. So for anyone who has sparkling lights/bling bling lights/Splotches, Nomer has the answer! Love this guy! πŸ‘ http://sketchupvrayresources.blogspot.ca/2011/07/trick-removing-splotches-in-vray.html
