Denoise?
-
In the future I am trying to use more often the progressive render methods. I don't have time to wait 50 or more passes and I need to denoise my images in Photoshop.
What PS- Plugin would you recomend?
Topaz Denoise or
Neat Image?or something else?

I tried out quite a few options, including both Topaz Denoise & Neat image. In the end I settled on Topaz Denoise as it seemed to offer the best results and most control. I also prefer the UI to many of the alternatives.

I've tried a lot of denoisers and found one that in my opinion stands out among them. It has seven different methods for denoise and the best thing is that it is free. I'm often using the DCT (discreet cosine) and strength dependent on the image. I also render out a material ID pass (with Thea) and use it to select one surface at a time so the denoiser doesn't blur the edges. Works great.

Thank you for your help.
At the moment I am trying the 30 days version of Topaz denoise an it looks quite good.
I've also installed Ximagic but I can't find it in the plugins...

Hi
I installed Ximagic too and you must install the 32 bit file even if you have a 64 bit machine. The 64 bit file is not seen in the plugins... -
I've decided for topaz denoise
