Problem with transparency rendering
-
I have a problem with transparency rendering. At first i thought its a problem with my self-made material, but I downloaded perforated steel material from the internet and the problem appeared again.
My sketchup doesn't render full transparency and leaves glass like material in places where nothing should be. I have attached my rendered material and original material image.
I hope anyone of you can help me. Thank in advance for your help.

You need to include the alpha map in your perpendicular reflections slot to cut out the reflections in the transparent areas.

I put together a vismat of the material. There was no alpha map with the original material from flying architecture so I made a new one. It's not particularly high res, so it doesn't work so well for closeup.
Hope this helps.Andy
