Another terrific issue. Just an observation for Mike that the BIM acronym actually stands for Building Information Modeling, not Management. Modeling in this case being the wider definition (rather than just 3D modelling) and indicates a much broader purpose for the data than just management.

Guys at my age - and specially at my "internet appearance" - it is a futile endeavour to cope with presenting "official" mugshots like this:
or admit that once in a while I have a good time like in that "hat" photo...

Thanks John, yes, you are perfectly right re BIM = Building Information Modeling. I have now corrected the misnaming.

Mike, thanks so much for the comprehensive article on BIM. It has improved and expanded my general understanding of this process in preparation for a meeting I have tomorrow. How timely!
