Absolutely love the night shot. Very seasonal. Would like to make something similar for my xmas cards. Seriously
-
Thanks for the comments guys.I have attached another photoshop watercolour with different colour tones than the last, plus some additional trees. But as with the last,I wanted to keep a lot of pure white in the image.

Wonderful work of art! NPR appeals more to me now than PR!Wish to learn to do this!!

A view thru the trees

hi david, every single of your images is a piece of art... great stuff

Superb, you should use these to create your own christms cards.

I wanted to try and get the golden hour light into these scenes, one with low evening sun. I did some colour toning to bring out the purples, blues and reds that contrast well with the overall golden orange colour.

-
David, I could admire your images all day and never get bored they just keep getting better.
-
David, all your images are fantastic, but that first one is perfection. Print it, frame, it, hang it on the wall!

I came across a christmas themed render I did last year so I used the same christmas lights on this image. They were done in photoshop using multiple image references and blended using the screen mode which gives the bright light effect.

-
aaah finally found the christmas mood i was missing till now!
thanks david!
-
davidh, master of the lights!
great stuff!

A mountain side version and a further a-field night version

A longer, far away, image based on 2 different post pro renders(previously uploaded to the Thea forum)-it almost works except for the large ivy tree which is to strong as a foreground image
