Plugin Help

I am having a hard time installing plugins. I am working with SU8 on a Mac. I am downloading the plugins from Sketchucation and putting them here /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/SketchUp/plugins. After installation I am completely closing Sketchup and reopening, but they just aren't there. I have only had success with Curviloft and Round Corners. I have tried to install OSCoolean, SoapSkin, Workplane and others with no success. I have looked under every menu item and can't find them. What am I doing wrong? I am moving everything that is downloaded into the above mentioned file. Should I be opening and extracting something? The files don't appear to be zipped. Please Help

A screen shot of the Plugins folder on your machine would be helpful. There are two common issues. One or both could be your problem. First, although it doesn't look like you've got a zipped file there, it might be. Both of those plugins download as zipped files from their sources. You would need to open the zipped file and extract the contents. When I do that on my Mac, I open the file, copy the contents and paste them into the Plugins folder.
Another possibility is that you need to enable these plugins under Preferences>Extensions. Look under the menu titled 'SketchUp' to the left of 'File" for that.
