Brion Cemetery

Carlo Scarpa's masterpiece and a personal project I've been working on for a bit, planning on modelling the whole thing and producing multiple views eventually, this is a pavilion with reflecting pool in the corner of the cemetery. The vegetation and the ground concrete are a bit iffy at the moment, really need a decent pine tree where you can't see the flatness of the 'leaf' images. Thinking about doing a couple more colours of lilypads to vary it up and toning down the water bump. Feedback appreciated!
Thanks to Thomthom for this tutorial http://www.thomthom.net/thoughts/2012/06/v-ray-for-sketchup-dirtmapping/ which I used to get the hang of vray dirt settings.
Tools used: Bricks n' Tiles, Shadermap, Compospray, Fredopaint, Vray, Photoshop.

it is looking really nice, and you captured a nice atmosphere... but I would remark just a couple of details (just my personal opinion):
the ivy plant looks flat and there is a white edge where the image was cut, have you tried 'ivy generator' by Thomas Luft???

and there is something strange with the dirt, looks like it was applied just to the edges of the geometry...

Wow, looks nothing like any cemetery I've ever seen , nicely done. I find it difficult to get a sense of scale tho.

I actually went there with my Architecture class (student) last summer (2011) for our Study Abroad studio course. It was an Italy class, and we happened to take a trip to the Tomba Brion. I have a ton of images that I took if you need some. They'll be better suited for figuring out details more-so than layout itself (they're tourist-y images).
You've got an excellent start to it so far (one of my favorites by Scarpa), but with the part that you're showing here, don't forget some of the details! This one in particular, is located on the part the man in the light-blue shirt has his hand over. It is located both, on the side that faces towards the Brion family's tombs and the opposite side facing the wall (my picture is of the wall side, since the man was standing there when I took that one). That detail, too, is meant to guide your eye-sight towards the tomb, and is placed lower than average eye-level -- being that the Brion family were shorter than the average height.
Anyways, if you want me to send you the pics, PM me your e-mail and I can e-mail them to you since I have around 175 of them. Some of them are a little tough to discern where exactly they are (tight shots), but I remember them for the most part.

Thanks for all your feedback so far, I've been having fun with the ivy generator, works great if you import as collada through Blender. Messing about with multitexture in UVToolkit to detail the tiles along the back wall without making loads of materials, should have something new to post next couple of days once I've worked out a decent concrete shader.

Nice work! would you happen to have a model of this that you would be willing to share? I'm doing a rendition of my own for my studio and need an accurate model to work with.
