    To anyone's knowledge, is there a plugin like Curvishear for instance, that would allow the drawing of a helix that starts with a given pitch, such as 10 degrees, and graduates into another given pitch, such as 40 degrees. Forgive my ignorance, but I'm sure there is a term for this type of geometry. A rising volute would be an example.

      Get the DrawHelix14 tool from the Plugins Index to make various helical forms...
      To make an "ever changing" helical form you could try the Grow tool.
      Make the 'segment' a component.
      Copy it radially, incrementing the vertical spacing/scale as you go.Capture.PNG
