      Beethoven .3ds file from archive3d.net
Turbosmooth Modifier in 3DS Max and exported as .obj
Imported to SU and mapped in UV LayOut 2
Rendered in Thea with small amount of displacement

        I like it.
How heavy was the file size? And could you please zoom out a bit, I would like to see how his hair looks like πŸ˜„
Also, thanks for reminding me of headus tools.

          Hi, Rich:
          I like your composition, it's a real symphony πŸ’š
Seriously, the image is pleasing, and thank you for showing it.

Thanks guys, it's just me trying out different stuff in Thea for practice. Nothing special. As for the hair....what hair?

Nice. Since you have Max, you might have tried baking your textures and normal maps and applying them to a lower poly mesh. This is a good tut on the subject - http://vimeo.com/18970594

Nice work on the Thea render.

Way over my head Adam at the moment. Max is like looking into a bucket of Lego and not knowing what to build.

Consider this an unfortunate side effect of unemployment. Also spending your day in pyjamas watching Dr Phil whilst a crappy dual core overheating trying to run Thea 😞

Rich, they are great. I've looked at external mapping programs, they seem a little complicated (well for thick old me). BTW they remind me of our lass,,, Hard Faced.

If I am reading this correctly, this was texture mapped in SU? What sort of plugin would allow such nice mapping?
