I'm a long time SU user. However I've never need this before. Is it possible to have 2 section planes active at the same time? If so, how do I activate them?

you can embed an active section within a component and it will stay on / off.

          here's 3 active at once.

1 in the overall model space, and then 1 within each of the components shapes.
Note that the 1 in the overall model cuts through everything.
The planes within the other components only cut through what is within that component.

Thanks. What I wanted to do was get a horizontal section through my entire model cutting off the bottom and the top. For what I wanted to do. I made the whole model a component and cut off the bottom with a section cut within the component. Then adding another section cut external to the model gave me what I needed.
