      Hello all!

Since i'm new to the forum and already have posted some comments i now feel the need to introduce myself. My name is Carl and i live and study in Erfurt, Germany. I'm currently in the fourth semester of studying Landscape architecture. As you may already have noticed i'm not that good at expressing myself in english but i hope you even so can understand my thoughts.

As not teached in my university i'm still very new to 3d modelling and have to teach it myself using amongst other things this fantastic forum. I started using Sketchup about a year ago now.

For my introduction i made a quick bathroom scene. Made with Sketchup 8 and Maxwell Render standalone plugin. Normally i do outside scenes as being a student in landscape architecture, but i'm so excited about the fact that i can use IES lights now with Maxwell that i created this interior scene. Also i just bought Artisan which resulted in that huge wash-bowl (which almost could run as a bath-tub ๐Ÿ˜‰ ). Woman/plant/toilet/cabinet are google warehouse models.
Ok here it is...rendered about 1 1/2 hour to SL 13. still pretty noisy, but i have to get going at another project.

I'm really looking forward to learn from you guys.

      Greetings
      Carl

Hello. What kind of feedback do you seek? Design, model, render? Everything? Is it a public restroom with the bidet by the sink and the door? Not likely. The room seems large enough to allow for a more discreet placement of fixtures. Fairly cave-like. Any chance for natural light and outside, landscape views? Lights seem bright and contrasty.

All things considered, a very nice effort.

to be honest, i didn't think about where that room could be and what it's purpose could be. is just wanted my introduction to look not that naked (and i wanted to play with IES lights) ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜ณ

But i will give this scene some work that i maybe can post it in the gallery ๐Ÿ˜„

Now I would certainly be embarrassed to sit on a toilet with such big windows... ๐Ÿ˜•

But I exactly know what this is; you have your new toy and playing around with it. Keep on and enjoy yourself until you find a "real" project where you will pay full attention to all these nuances. ๐Ÿ˜„

And (a belated) welcome to SCF of course. ๐Ÿ‘

                true,true... ๐Ÿ˜„

For university i have project deadlines around the end of june. i'm pretty sure that i will get more productive feedback here than from my profs when i post the scenes for the projects.

And of course, thank you for the welcome wishes ๐Ÿ˜„

๐Ÿ’š Well Gai, Here an actual project I worked on--but not the designer .
Here is the guesthouse where the owner-artist invites his friends to be a little brave. The shower is the same right to the left of the picture. Must be the wave of the future.

๐Ÿ˜ฎ Especially at nights when the interior lights are on and you cannot see who is watching outside!

is that a photograph or a render?? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ pleas say its a photo...otherwise i would feel pretty bad with my picture here ๐Ÿ˜‰

For people others than exhibitionists this could be the solution for nighttimes in that kind of rooms ๐Ÿ˜„
