    My most recent experiment is to obtain good double reflections on windows coming from double glazing on windows. It's something that very rarely I need to do, but if I needed it I wouldn't know how to do it right know.

    So I'm asking: how do you get around to make double glazing? Is it possible to do it only with material settings, or is modeling the best way? And if you model it, do you make two single planes of geometry, or two very thin slabls of glass?

    Suggestions appreciated here 😄

      Yes, it does depend on geometry. You will need two planes at the least to get reflections. If you only use a single plane for each layer instead of a volume (glass with thickness), you'll want to make sure your refraction layer is either deleted, or the IOR is set to 1.0, otherwise, you'll see a shifted image behind your glass.

        That's an amazing take on the problem! In this way the single window pane can become a component to copy around the building... (and it takes care of material and uv settings too!)

        What would be the perfect distance between glass pane tho?
